About us

"Hi, my name is Arran Heaton and I’m the founder of A H Productions.

We help to tell stories by creating immersive content & mesmerising audiovisual solutions for any situation. With over 10 years of industry experience, we have worked with some of the largest brands in the world including VISA, BBC & Dr. Martens on new and innovative projects across many different platforms from social media adverts to feature-length films, with everything inbetween.

A bit about me…

I have been interested in technology for as long as I can remember. As a child I would retrieve broken electronic gadgets from the dustbin, to take apart and reconstruct into some new ‘invention’. Music, on the other hand, was something that I developed an interest in much later on, when I learned to play the guitar for an end of term show and instantly loved the feeling of having the crowd sing along to my performance. Since then, music and performing have been a key part of my life: I taught myself to play the piano for my music GCSE; performed as a soloist in the regional choir; acted and sang in productions of Footloose and Little Shop of Horrors and performed across Europe as part of multiple bands and groups.

One of my proudest and most memorable musical achievements was becoming a Guinness world record holder as part of the ‘Stick it to MS’ drumming world record, which raised over £100,000 for charity.

After leaving Winstanley college in 2014, I co-founded Liberty Sound Ltd recording studios. I left my role in the company to continue my education, studying Audio Production at SAE, graduating with honours in 2016. Since then I have freelanced across the field of music & film production around the world.

I incorporated AH Productions in the spring of 2018 and have grown from strength to strength since then working with international brands, Academy award-winning composers and festival winning filmmakers.

It still amazes me that just over 5 years ago, I was sat in my bedroom at parent's house recording myself playing the guitar on a £100 laptop; now I'm managing an ever-growing team, working on multi-million-pound projects across the world.

I can't wait to see where we are 5 years from now!"  - Arran
